FAQ
Common questions
Do I need to download an app?
No. Open Maliketi on WhatsApp, send Hi, and follow the menu. Everything stays in chat.
How do I pay?
At checkout you can pay now (mobile money to the seller, then send a payment screenshot in chat) or pay when you collect if the shop allows it — cash or MoMo in person, no screenshot needed.
Is my payment safe?
You pay the seller using your normal MoMo app. Maliketi never asks for your PIN. Keep payments inside the order flow so your seller can confirm and your order stays tracked.
How does delivery work?
You choose pickup at the shop or own rider (you arrange collection). Maliketi does not send a courier. The seller tells you when the order is ready.
How do I open a shop?
Message Maliketi and tap Become a vendor (under More options). After approval, list products and manage orders from the shop dashboard in the same chat.
I already have a WhatsApp Business catalog — do I re-upload everything?
For launch, add your key products in Maliketi so buyers can search across shops. Catalog import from WhatsApp is planned for later — you won’t need to maintain two lists forever.
